Intro text (homepage):
This tutorial covers how to create topographic raster and contours from spot elevation points. We will download and create a selection of the spot point data using the appropriate attributes to create an accurate terrain raster. We will then interpolate the point data to create an output raster generated from the height values of the spot elevation points. Finally, we will create contours of the topographic raster that can be exported to CAD software in both 2D and 3D data. This tutorial was created as part of the workshop series offered for M.Arch students at GSAPP each semester.
