Intro text (homepage):
DEM (Digital Elevation Model) Imagery is raster data that can be used to model terrain information. In this tutorial, we will cover instructions on how to download topographic raster data from multiple sources, including the Earth Explorer, USGS, and Cornell University Geospatial Information Repository. We will detail the process of downloading the data on each of these web hosts to the scope of your interest. Finally, we will cover how to import your downloaded DEM imagery into ArcGIS. This tutorial was created as part of the workshop series offered for M.Arch students at GSAPP each semester.
