Intro text (homepage):
ArcGIS is a software the uses linked files instead of embedded data. This exercise will guide you through the process of fixing broken layer source links in ArcGIS and how to properly manage linked data. We will cover how to reset the data source if a link is modified or missing. Finally, we will demonstrate a good practice to save your maps to make sure your links will be preserved the next time you open your maps. This tutorial was created as part of the workshop series offered for M.Arch students at GSAPP each semester.
